Villa 2, is our newer duplex offering that finished construction in December 2022. When you enter the ground floor of the villa, you are welcomed into the living room where there is sufficient seating with stone slabs and armchairs and drinking water in clay pot that you might typically see in Konkan homes. The living room connects to the mini-kitchen which includes an induction/gas stove, kitchen drawers, cutlery cabinet, kitchen sink etc. It also includes essential cooking utensils and basic ingredients.
The spacious bedroom has a king-sized bed with a comfortable mattress with bedside table, working table with chair, wall mounted wardrobe, ceiling fan, clothes drying rack, room darkening shades, and others.
The living room of the villa also has stairs which lead to the first floor of the villa which has the second bedroom. The second bedroom of the villa has an attached toilet/bathroom and a balcony. The master bedroom on the first floor includes all the amenities of the ground floor bedroom. Additionally the master bedroom also has an attached balcony overlooking the villa’s garden and has two arm chairs.

Basic facilities are available in all villas including high speed WiFi (100 Mbps), fresh towels, bed sheets, quilts, shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, tooth-brush, gas/induction stove, hair dryer, mosquito repellents, first aid box, clothes drying stand, clean cutlery/utensils, waste disposal, and so on. Hot water is accessible on both floors. On the ground floor, hot water is heated in the traditional way of wood burning that will be maintained by Ravi, our caretaker.

There are two bathroom/toilets on each floor. Each of them have a western toilet/commode, a shower area, with hot water, and a wash sink/basin installed with premier fixtures.

A few benches and hammocks are also setup outside the villa for you to enjoy the outdoors.

The villa is ideally suited for four guests, extendable to eight with additional mattresses.

Other features

A limited* breakfast is also included in the price of your stay. You will have access to facilities including: fresh towels, bed-sheets, quilts, shower-gel, shampoo, tooth-paste, tooth-brush, refrigerator (including freezer), induction-stove, clean cutlery/utensils, waste disposal, face-towel, hair-dryer, iron-box, mosquito repellant, first-aid box and so on. Mosquito guards on the windows are installed in the two bedrooms and kitchen. We also have a small café/restaurant running at the end of our villa who caters to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian lunch, dinner and breakfast at reasonable rates which closes at 9 PM. It takes them at least 30 minutes – 45 minutes to prepare your food as they sometimes have to get fresh groceries.

 

 

*We include a breakfast along with your booking but it is a limited breakfast. It includes a one plate meal and coffee/tea. Please contact us for any clarifications about this.
